These ink drawings are all from a series called “Energies”. My drawing technique is inspired by Japanese Sumi ink landscapes and calligraphy. Many of these are done vertically in the shape of a scroll. The brushstrokes are spontaneous, loose, and natural, representing visual energy. I draw animals then apply the ink marks to show their particular characteristics and healing powers.
